The Grey Cut is a blog dedicated to alternative, off-the-wall news stories and political op-ed commentary inspired by the voice of our rising, entirely skeptical millennial generation.

The Mission

On a bi-weekly basis we provide unique, eccentric, insightful, whiskey-washed commentary on some of the biggest headline defining stories of the day. In addition, we also currently publish original news/content concerning the revolutionary crisis in Venezuela, which has subsequently amassed little-to-no media attention among any of the major, old-establishment news outlets.

Who?

The Grey Cut is a non-profit alternative news publication managed by its founder and editor-in-chief, Christopher J. Bing. Other contributors include a team of freelance writers and Washington-based foreign policy gurus. *Primary sources remain anonymous unless stated otherwise.

Why

Our readers are everything to us. Sharing, promoting, reading, Tweeting, whatever it is, this site is a sort of pseudo-experimental social project that challenges the usual, contemporary news media format.  We can only hope to move forward with the help of our dedicated readers. So read, share, comment, lets find a new online news media model that suits us.
